The Sauerland also offers a wide range of leisure activities, especially for family holidays or holidays with children. Attractive leisure and wildlife parks, an indoor play hall, a climbing park, a stalactite cave and family-friendly museums are all within easy reach of the hotel. 

The nice thing about it: With the Schmallenberger Sauerland Card, which you receive as a guest in our family hotel free of charge, you receive numerous discounts, in some cases even free entry. So there is no boredom guaranteed. 

In the hotel itself, the children's playroom and the hobby room are the meeting point for the little ones. The youngest use the children's play area with Lego, wooden trains and much more, while the older ones play table tennis, the table football and with board games. 

The highlight is of course the large swimming pool. With 86 m² water surface and 29 ° C water temperature, young and old feel at home here. Waterfall, a countercurrent system and massage jets provide variety. The whole family can enjoy bubbling relaxation in the 36 ° C hot tub.

The apartments and suites in the main building of our family hotel have a separate living room and bedroom. One or two extra beds can be set up in the living room for holidays with children. Whether for the short weekend in the Sauerland or for a longer period: Holidays with children in our apartments and suites are always comfortable and stress-free.

Parents and children as well as grandparents and grandchildren will appreciate the mix of hotel comfort and independence. Guests staying in a holiday apartment can either cater for themselves or opt for breakfast and half board in the hotel. The many included services of our family hotel and the swimming pool and wellness area are, of course, completely free of charge.
